“Get Bambaataa!” is based on Afrika Bambaataa’s vocals from 1990 hit “Get Up And Dance”. We have kept the rhythm aesthetics of the 90’s era, while the melodic line is nothing but a piece of energetic jazz-funk. The tune is built mainly on synthesizer sounds and various sample banks, which is unusual for us, as we do a lot of crate digging and sampling old vinyls while producing our stuff. The track is done without needless clutching up. Hedonistic and unpretentious banger.
The foundation of „Swingalong” is a groovy sample from some old, unidentified, soviet 7” vinyl with blurred label. “Jazz Ensamble Lenigrada” is the only thing we have managed to decode. The tune is a swinging banger, based on brokenbeat rhythm with a latin element. It is crafty cut, club oriented and reinterpreted by Wrocław-based duo “Prześnik”. Pure dancefloor-jazz bomb!
